In anticipation of the Apple Savior, I would like to share with you a wonderful recipe for baked apples in the Oriental style. These fragrant apples and diversify your Apple menu in the lovely holiday!

Cooking
First prepare the syrup: mix a quarter Cup of water, 2 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp of sugar, and over low heat bring to a boil. You need to cook for 5 minutes. Then the syrup is cooled, we need it cold.
Mix chopped nuts (I almonds), coconut, brown sugar, add the cinnamon and ground cloves.
I was crushed all the ingredients (including coconut) to the same size, you can do according to your taste. You can also vary the nuts, I love with pecans.
Apples needs to take a strong, hard. With loose apples will be difficult to work with. Remove the peel, carefully cut out the middle.
Cut the apples into slices, thickness 0.5-0.7 mm (or thinner), so that then they can be easily stacked on top of each other.

Our "re-assembled" apples dockable toothpicks from both sides, like the picture, so they kept the form. Send the apples in a preheated 160-170 degrees oven for 30 minutes (depending on your oven and the thickness of the layers of the apples)
Apples ready spread on a plate and immediately pour the cold syrup.
Dessert can be served hot and is especially tasty with a scoop of ice cream and cold as we prefer.
