Cookies from shortbread dough
This dough was a revelation for me! This particular shortbread-yeast dough that combines the properties of both types: from a yeast – softness and fluffiness, from sand – crispness and crunchiness. Cookies work much (!!!) tastier than usual sand. Very easy to do.

Ingredients

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Water

    2 Tbsp

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    30 g

  • Butter

    125 g

  • Vanilla

  • Brown sugar

    45 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

I showed you how to make this dough in a pie "Pie shortbread dough stuffed with brown sugar". Dissolve dry yeast in 2 tbsp warm water. In a bowl sprinkle the flour, add the sugar, a pinch of soapy, a pinch of vanilla, butter, sliced, egg, and yeast. Knead the dough with your fingertips and knead to get a smooth mass.

Let the dough rise for two hours at room temperature.

Roll out the dough thickness of 0.5 cm.

Cut out biscuits with a cookie cutter, you can just a glass, or cut with a knife into pieces.

Dip one side in sugar.

Place on a baking sheet and bake until Golden brown.
