Description

Traditional English scones for a tea party
The British love to serve these cakes to a traditional afternoon tea - five o'clock. They're really really good, with an airy crumb and tender crust. They are easy to cut into halves and put them in a piece of cheese or ham. They can spread butter or jam in General, and can be sweet or not. They are not fresh! Great easy recipe, I already did them on half-caf, take 1 egg and 2 quail, and we had a little, ate very quickly! I also liked the recipe because it does not have yeast, it is not necessary to wait until the dough rises - it is so lush and airy, and all very quick and easy even for a beginner!

Cooking

step-0
In a large bowl sift flour, soda, powder and salt
step-1
add lemon juice (soda immediately hissing),
step-2
cold butter cut into small cubes.
step-3
Put the butter into the flour and rubs his hands there,
step-4
do in the center of the hole, put the egg,
step-5
pour in the kefir (yogurt).
step-6
Knead the dough, it becomes soft and tender. Sprinkle it with flour and knead-knead until it will not cease to stick to hands and the table.
step-7
Here's the dough...
step-8
roll out to a thickness of 1 cm
step-9
next, take a glass and cut out circles (I have it 7 cm in diameter).
step-10
Gather scraps of dough and again cut out. I took all the dough, and it turned out exactly 16 clubs that perfectly fit on 1 baking sheet.
step-11
Baking tray lay a baking paper, grease it with vegetable oil and place the workpiece at a small distance from each other. When baking they will rise, but in breadth not much will disperse.
step-12
Brush them with milk. Bake at 220 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until it will turn brown! Everyone enjoy your tea with these scones!!
