Rustic pickles
My mother is from year to year pickling cucumbers just for this recipe-others simply do not recognize. I myself, my parents and all our relatives-the people of the village, easy... (from here the name of the recipe). Now of course we all live in different cities, but still each of us at 4-5, the three-liter jars of these pickles rolls. Mom of course there are about 30 pieces on the shelf in the basement, cucumbers, and a sight for sore eyes!!!

Ingredients

  • Cucumber

  • Salt

    1 cup

  • Dill

  • Sheet cherry

  • Leaf currant

  • Garlic

  • Horseradish

  • Water

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Vinegar essence

    1 Tbsp

The 3-liter jar, pour salt, add all the greens, garlic...

Fill jar with cucumbers and fill with cold water from the well (it is in the village of course no problem to get it...)..-so where are we in the city take?! That's why I just cold filtered water from the tap. A jar a couple of times to flip (up and down), the salt was dissolved. Reserve now for a day to stand in the room.

A day later-pour the brine.

And then fill the cucumbers with boiling water for 10 minutes.

Then drain off the water into a saucepan, add sugar, bring to a boil. Pour the vinegar directly into the jar and cover with the marinade. If there is no of vinegar, you can take a 9% 80-90 g. Rolled, turned, wrapped (optional). Pickles are just delicious.
