Whether you love Apple butter as I love him? Then come on in we have something to talk about... Let's bring some interesting notes in our favorite, but this is the usual dessert. Add the bouquet of herbs, chilli (unexpectedly? ) and cane sugar. And this easy Apple butter is transformed into a refined, sophisticated, elegant, brand new dessert.

Cooking
Apples cleaned, remove core, cut into arbitrarily. Not very big, but to make it too small, too not worth it. (weight already peeled fruit) it is best to cook jam from apples sour - sweet varieties, but it is not so essential.
Arrange the apples in a saucepan with a thick bottom, pour cold water, close the pan with a lid, bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes.
After five minutes, add the juice and zest of half a lemon. Cook on medium heat with the lid closed, until tender apples. (for me it takes 12-15 minutes, but it all depends on varieties of the fruit itself, of course)
While the apples are cooked, finely chop half a chili pepper. ( 9-10 g approximately)
Grind herbs. The amount of herbs specified the optional, guided by their taste preferences. For example, sometimes I put more rosemary...
Blend the cooked apples with the help of a blender.
Return the pot to the heat, add pepper and herbs and allow to simmer jam, five minutes.
Add sugar (I use Demerara sugar TM Mistral), stir and cook for 25-30 minutes until thick. Do not forget to stir. You're done! Store jam in the refrigerator in a tightly closed container. And, you can pour hot waiting in sterilized jars, roll up and send to long term storage. (to make one gallon of jam)
