Description
Suggest You try a delicious pie Gibanica with sweet layers of cottage cheese, sour cream and nuts. This cake is in the Balkans, one of the traditional festive sweet dishes. Your option is Gibanica in Bosnia, Macedonia, Croatia and other Balkan countries. Such pie exists in Lebanon, and Syria (source: the book "Serbian cuisine", volume 16, 2013). This recipe I am posting for my lovely girlfriend Masha (Mary Stone) in honor of her Birthday!

Cooking
It is the recipe by which I prepared, but with its own modifications.
First you need knead the dough. In water, add vegetable oil, salt and half the flour. Mix well. Then add little by little flour and knead the dough for 10 minutes. Flour may take less or more, so all at once add is not worth it. It took me 320 g. the Dough will be soft, not stick to hands. The dough divide into 4 pieces, cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes while preparing filling.
Nut filling. Nuts grind convenient way for You (I use a rolling pin). Nuts connect with sugar, vanilla sugar (vanilla) and cognac. Mix well. Brandy can be added.
Sour cream and semolina filling. To connect sour cream, sugar, egg, flour and semolina. Mix thoroughly.
Curd. To combine the cheese, sugar and eggs. Mix thoroughly.
Assembling the pie. I used the split form (without a bottom), sides lined with parchment. The form to use a 22 or 24 cm, preferably with high sides. Roll out one portion of dough slightly larger than Your form, put in the form and make the sides. Coat with melted butter, sprinkle and distribute the walnut filling. Top cover with the second pastry sheet to make the sides and coat with butter. To spread and distribute the sour cream and cream of wheat filling. Cover it with third layer of dough to make sides and coat with butter. To spread and distribute the cheese filling. Cover it with last layer of dough and to coat with butter.
Put in preheated oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 190 degrees. Be guided by your oven. The finished cake cool completely in the form, and then gently remove from it. Decorate at will. I used a prepared pink frosting, sprinkling snowflakes and wafer roses.
