Caramel chicken in Thai
This recipe originates from Thailand. Chicken cooked in caramel, very juicy and tender, and captivating minimal set of ingredients and quick cooking. Highly recommend.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet

    500 g

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    4 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

Prepare the required products.

Chicken cut into small pieces 1.5-2 cm Garlic, finely chop. Pepper cut into thin strips

Heat well a frying pan with olive oil. The fire under the pan must be large and cannot be reduced to the end of cooking. For cooking Asian dishes I always use a wok. In a pan pour the sugar and stir until it starts to melt and turn into caramel.

When the sugar has melted, add the garlic, quickly stir and pour soy sauce.

Again, quickly stir and add the chicken. Now stir the chicken until the caramel thickens and becomes viscous, and the hen will not acquire a beautiful Golden color. Don't forget to stir so the caramel is not burnt. Burnt caramel will taste bitter.

After you remove the chicken, tosses in the same pan with the pepper and over high heat sauté, stirring, 4 minutes.
