Jam from cloudberries
Cloudberry is the favorite berry of the North. In ancient times it was served to the Royal table as a delicacy of the North. The names of the mulberry a lot: it is called the Northern orange and Arctic raspberry, currant and moss. Jam from cloudberries is a great source of vitamins in winter time. He kept long, and therefore to saturate the body with vitamins A and C with this jam all year round. By itself, the cloudberries - a very interesting and tasty berries, and jam from it, respectively, obtained also very original.

Ingredients

  • Cloudberry

    3 kg

  • Sugar

    2.3 kg

  • Lime

    2 piece

  • Water

    500 ml

Cloudberry blend it using a blender and RUB through a sieve.

With lime to remove the zest and squeeze the juice.

In fruity cloudberry puree add 2 kg of sugar, water and lime zest, bring to a boil and cook on medium heat constantly stirring for 15 minutes.

Then add the remaining sugar, the lime juice and cook for another 10 minutes.

Pour in hot sterilized jars and close with lids. The jam is very flavorful. It is perfect as an addition to tea or oladushki pancakes and as a filling for pies, cakes and rolls.
