Roberts
Roberts is the Latvian national dish. It is based on semolina with beaten egg, but you never call this dish of porridge. Rather, it is a delicate soufflé or pudding. Very tasty and air! Surprise your family with this delicious, unusual and easy Breakfast or dessert! Recipe from the "Deli" 2004

Ingredients

  • Raisins

    1 handful

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Almonds

    50 g

  • Milk

    500 ml

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Semolina

    120 g

  • Salt

  • Butter

    0.5 Tbsp

Cooking

In boiling milk in a thin stream pour grits and, stirring constantly, cook for a few minutes.

The yolks separated from the whites. When the porridge cooled to 80-70 degrees, add to it chopped peeled almonds, raisins (optional) and the egg yolks mixed with sugar.

Separately, beat whites with a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar and gently introduced into the porridge.

Pour the mass into a greased with butter and liberally sprinkled with semolina form.

Bake until Golden brown in a preheated 180 degree oven.

You can serve it both warm and cooled. Delicious to pour sour cream or honey.
