Hungarian casserole of sauerkraut and rice
I want to offer You another proof, as similar products of different Nations were able to invent their own unique dishes. I invite You to Hungary. Ingredients

  • Corn starch

Cooking

Boil the long grain rice according to instructions.

Cabanossi (other sausage) cut into slices.

1 tbsp oil to fry sausages. Remove them with a slotted spoon and save for the plate. At the same fat fry the onion with paprika. Add the washed(!) and wrung sauerkraut. Add sweet dried paprika and oregano, mix well. Simmer for 15 min. under a cover on slow fire.

Sauce: mix eggs, starch and sour cream. Good salt and pepper.

At the bottom of the baking dish, greased, put layers: layer cabbage with rice layer fried sausages, layer cabbage with rice layer fried sausages.

Completely cover the casserole with bread cubes and top evenly pour the egg-sour cream mixture.
