Millet pie
Very tasty cake, which was done by our grandmothers. In millet contains enough protein and fiber, which beneficially affect the health of the intestine. Also, millet contains vitamins B1, B2, PP and minerals: phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron.

Ingredients

  • Millet

    1.5 cup

  • Milk

    3 cup

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Raisins

    0.5 cup

  • Sugar

    5 Tbsp

  • Vanilla

  • Salt

So, let's start. Milk to cook millet porridge. This milk bring to a boil, add grits, low down the fire and, stirring constantly, boil porridge for 15 min. or until cereal becomes viscous. Until ready to cook is not necessary, as the mixture will take in the oven.

Here such porridge is supposed to be. Now let cool down.

While the porridge cools, we soak in hot water raisins (before that, do not forget to wash thoroughly!)

Separate the whites from the yolks. Retirem yolks with sugar, whisk the whites with salt until peaks.

In the cooled porridge add the egg yolks, raisins, vanilla, dissolved in hot water.

Now add carefully the beaten egg whites.

Grease a form with butter, sprinkle with bread crumbs. If the shape of the silicone (like me), then this is all you need to do. Put into the form we have the resulting mass and bake 20 minutes at 220*C

When serving pour sour cream pie or jam.
