Čerkez tavugu - chicken-Circassian
The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user kris under the name "cerchez-Tavuk" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring". Making this dish from Turkish cuisine for the first time and, frankly, wasn't sure about its taste. However, the appetizer was very tasty and filling, though not too photogenic. Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet

    350 g

  • Walnuts

    70 g

  • Roll

    50 g

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Coriander

    0.5 tsp

  • Spices

  • Lemon

  • Baguette

Chicken fillet pour a small amount of water (to just cover the chicken), put on fire, after boiling, remove the foam from the broth and cook for 20-25 minutes.

While preparing meat, nuts, lightly fried and dry.

Peel the garlic cloves.

In a blender, first grind in the crushed nuts,

add the broken slices of the loaf and once more to make a "BIGGG".

In the mixture add the crushed garlic, salt, pepper, coriander. Mix well.

Fillet ready remove from broth and let cool slightly.

To obtain sauce Orekhovo-bakery mixture should be diluted with warm but not hot broth, approximately, to the consistency of sour cream. I took about 130-150ml of broth. For a more appetizing color and the kind of sauce I added a pinch of turmeric.

The cooled chicken fillet dismantle the fibers (but I think that you can just chop it finely).

And mix with the sauce in a convenient storage container. Finally cooled čerkez tavugu put into the refrigerator and allow to stand for several hours. In a day were even tastier.

To serve the dish on the tortilla, lavash, fresh baguette or on toast of white bread.

But always with a slice of lemon! The size of the slice - to Your taste. I liked the larger piece, my husband chose a slice smaller. But what lemon - unanimous "FOR"!
