Meat pie
A wonderful cake based on pita bread with juicy meat filling! Cooked very quickly, however, just as quickly disappears. Sorry for the evening photos, but in the morning there was nothing to photograph! Nobody will remain indifferent, believe me!

Ingredients

  • Pita

    280 g

  • Meat

    800 g

  • Brisket

    450 g

  • Onion

    3 piece

  • Soy sauce

    2 Tbsp

  • Spices

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Milk

    60 ml

  • Cheese

    100 g

  • Olives

    100 g

  • Butter

    10 g

Cooking

Boil meat in a small amount of water until tender (a little salt). Add when cooking your favorite spices for meat. This step can be done in advance, then baking a cake will take a minimum of time. Or replace the beef for chicken and the cooking time will be considerably reduced.

Chop the cooked bacon into strips. The fat is cut into smaller pieces and melt in a frying pan.

Onion cut into feathers, spread in a pan to melted fat and fry until transparent.

Add to the onions the bacon, fry it lightly and add the chopped boiled meat. Pour soy sauce, add pepper, put out 5 minutes. Try on salt and spices and adjust to your taste. If desired, slice olives and add to the filling (I, unfortunately, was not on hand olives)

Grease a baking dish. Pave the bottom of a dry pita, forming the sides and leaving the edges for wrapping.

Spread warm filling for pita bread.

Cover with lavash and wrap the edges. Mix the egg with the milk and well lubricate the top of the pie with a brush. Spread on pie slices of cheese, of course, you can grate the cheese.

Send cake in a preheated 180°C oven for 30 minutes. Be guided by your oven! Ready pie cool slightly and serve! Very tasty, juicy and satisfying!
