Cooking
To make this cake I needed:
For the transparent jelly pour 100 g gelatin 3 cups of cold, boiled water and leave for an hour to swell. Then heat, without allowing to boil on a slow fire to dissolve the grains of gelatin. Add sugar to taste and citric acid, the proportions of the ingredients given are approximate. Add a solution of gelatin in water to the desired volume (up to 1.75 l). Transparent form of grease minimal amount of vegetable oil without smell. Remove the excess with a napkin. Fully cooled solution is poured into the form and put in the fridge overnight. For color jelly fill 25 g gelatin cold boiled milk (100 ml), then proceed in a similar transparent jelly, only adding at the end the sour cream, replacing citric acid vanilla sugar. Ready sour cream and gelatin solution, to divide into parts, the number of colors. Add the dye and stir thoroughly. I recommend not to breed all the colors at once. Just in case, I repeat that the dye is taken and natural food, as stated from the manufacturer. You can replace them with beet juice, spinach, carrots, etc. To retrieve the image, I used the means at hand: from tin cans cut with scissors the desired shape. You can use knife or different size spoons. The tool is introduced into a dense jelly and without removing it, run the needle of a syringe with color jelly fill the cut space.
For letters and numbers use only the needle of a syringe, make injections in the jelly close to each other. Don't forget that we are working with a needle on the wrong side, therefore the label must be in the mirror. I made a template of heavy paper, attached it to jelly and quickly noted the outline with a needle, then filled in the entire area.
When the entire drawing is completed, put the form into the fridge for another couple of hours. Prepare a white jelly - filled. Fill with remaining gelatin 200 ml milk, after heating will enter the sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar, mix up until smooth. Half pour into a form with a picture and put in the fridge.

By the way, for dessert I took a glass heat-resistant pan. Jelly did in the pan and the cake baked in the lid - very convenient! Layer of sponge cake, put on the jelly, and impregnated with syrup from jam. I have cherry, with a delicate aroma of citrus peel.

After complete solidification of the cake, omit the form in hot water for a few seconds and turn over onto a plate.
Remove the form and put the cake in the fridge before serving.
