Description

Traditional Polish Apple pie
Tasty, unusual pie made with puff pastry. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user Murchela called "old Polish cake", and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Ingredients

  • The dough is flaky unleavened

    750 g

  • Apple

    600 g

  • Sour cream

    500 g

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Cinnamon

Cooking

step-0
Apples clean, cut seed box and cut into small pieces.
step-1
Add 2-3 tablespoons of water, cover it and put it to stew until tender on low fire. I added half a cinnamon stick, but it's purely optional. At the end of stewing add 4 tablespoons of sugar, cover again and simmer for about five minutes with sugar.
step-2
Prepared apples can be mashed with a fork to mash was smooth, or leave as is, I love to feel the pieces. My apples were very sweet so I added only 4 tbsp of sugar if you feel that this is not enough, add more.
step-3
Now let us proceed directly to pie. Divide the dough into four pieces, roll out, using something round the trimmed edge. I have the diameter of the pellets 28 cm
step-4
Sprinkle a baking sheet liberally with water.
step-5
Put the dough and bake at t 200*. While baked one cake, cut out another. The trimming is put aside, then bake them and crumble to powder.
step-6
In applesauce spread the sour cream (sour cream should be oily, I have 25% fat), add the sachet of vanilla sugar.
step-7
Beat with a mixer no more than a minute, enough to components of the cream is well blended and cream not turned into oil.
step-8
Mentally divide the cream into four pieces and coat each pellet.
step-9
Last, top the cake, put the other side under the cream will not see anything, and the surface will be smooth.
step-10
Cover the last layer of cream, sprinkle with crumbs and put in the refrigerator. I baked a cake in the evening, so he quietly stood in the fridge until morning. Part of the chips suggest to leave in the morning.
step-11
In the morning take out the cake from the refrigerator, sprinkle the remaining crumb fresh (it will be lightly and pleasantly crackled), decorate (I made candied melon rinds and candied lemon) and served with tea and coffee household that evening walked around him in circles.
