Apple baklava with honey and nuts
Exceptionally delicious cake-based dough "Filo" with Apple-walnut stuffing. Cake recipe from my friend of Moroccan origin - Samira. Enjoy the awesome fragrant taste of honey "baklawa"!

Ingredients

  • Phyllo dough

    1 pack

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    130 g

  • Honey

    120 g

  • Almonds

    150 g

  • Walnuts

    50 g

  • Forest nuts

    100 g

  • Cinnamon

    2 Tbsp

  • Raisins

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Apples cleaned, remove core, cut into small cubes and mix with sugar.

Then mix the apples with cinnamon, raisins, almonds and walnuts. The purified walnut just enough to break hands into small pieces.

That's the stuffing.

The dough "Filo" can be used ready, and you can cook for yourself. The site has a lot of good recipes for this dough, so you can stay on that will not.

Butter melts to a liquid state, greased fireproof dish, spread the pastry sheet, slightly grease it with oil (it is better to use a brush), sprinkle a small amount of chopped nuts and lay the same way the entire 1/3 part of the test.

Then spread half the filling; 1/3 of the dough again; then the remaining filling and the final part of the test. Do not forget to grease every leaf of the dough with oil and sprinkle with nuts.

After put all of the batter on top pour the remaining oil and, using a sharp knife, cut the dough into portion squares (see photo).

Bake pie in a preheated 180°C oven for about 30 minutes. While the pie is baking, in small saucepan will heat the honey with the lemon juice (but do not boil!).

Ready "baklava" take out of the oven and pour the honey-lemon syrup. Eat chilled. Bon appetit!
