It all started with the fact that I was going to do cabbage rolls, and the eldest son brought from the garden a big head of cabbage with very large as burdock leaves. Make him stuffed cabbage just did not make sense to cut, to shred the beautiful leaves. And then I had the idea for this loaf. Don't know how anyone, but I never get it nicely remove the leaves from the head. They break, crack. They say it is better to use a flattened cabbage (Brunswick), but I've only been once. I do not know who "undresses" the cabbage, but I have to do is cut the cabbage head, take a large pot, boil the water and lowered her head. Periodically turn it after 3 minutes, pull out, remove the top sheets, it is important not to digest, then the procedure is repeated. This time it took me 4 times to send the cabbage in boiling water to completely "undress" her. If you have microwave, you can use another way, although I honestly have not tried. Cabbage placed in the bowl, the bowl in the microwave for a lot of power for 5 minutes. Pull out the cabbage and immediately run cold water over, say, the upper leaves themselves bounce. Then the procedure is repeated. Here we have a sheet ready.
Next, make the stuffing. I took the mixed meat (pork, beef). Boiled rice, this time a mixture of brown and wild (as wanted).
Then the stuffing added chopped onion, egg, salt, pepper mixture. In General, do regular stuffing for stuffed cabbage. Then each hostess their secrets. You can add sauteed mushrooms, melkorublenoy cabbage, Bulgarian pepper, greens, etc.
