Description

Soup of white beans
The recipe for this soup I found in the pages of my favorite cooking magazine in the section "Cooking for kids".

Ingredients

  • Beans

    1 cup

  • Carrots

    6 piece

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • Celery root

    1 tsp

  • Turmeric

    0.5 tsp

  • Thyme

    2 piece

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

  • Greens

    1 coup

  • Black pepper

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

Rinse beans, soak in large quantities of cool water for not less than 4 hours (better overnight).

In the morning the water pour out, pour fresh water to with a large stock covers the beans. Cook in a double boiler for one hour or cook in a pot on the stove. Add salt only at the END of COOKING, as it slows the cooking process, making the shell of beans (and other legumes) more rigid.

Potatoes and carrots clean. Cut the potatoes into small cubes, carrot - thin slices.

Cook beans until soft. Add potatoes, carrots, celery and all the spices. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

When serving, pour into soup bowls and sprinkle with chopped greens. A pleasant and healthy you appetite!!!
