Empanadas with tomato sauce
Delicious, nutritious little cakes. Conveniently, the dough and the filling can be prepared in advance, and then just sculpt and bake it in the oven.

Ingredients

1. In a bowl sift the flour. Add salt, sugar, cold butter and vegetable oil, knead. To connect the water and the egg yolks. Gradually add the mixture to the dough and knead until it becomes homogeneous.

2. At first the dough will be dense, but this is only until cool. Cover the dough with cling film and put into the refrigerator for at least an hour (if necessary, the dough can be kept in the refrigerator for a couple of days). The dough should be soft and smooth, but not elastic — if you poke it with your finger should be a recess.

3. For the filling, onions and garlic chop and fry in olive oil until tender. Add the beef, cumin, chili powder, paprika, beef broth, salt and pepper.

4. Fry the mince until brown, add flour and keep on low heat for another 5 minutes. Remove the stuffing from heat, cool.

5. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, divide into small pieces, and let stand for 5 minutes. Roll out the balls into a circle with a diameter of about 15 cm and a thickness of about 2.5 mm. On the dough put a spoonful of the filling of fried minced meat, add some chopped olives and a slice of hard-boiled egg.

6. Lubricate the edges of the dough with water, sculpt the edges. Grease lightly beaten egg on top of pies.

7. Bake the empanadas in a preheated 180°C oven for 25-30 minutes until Golden brown. For the sauce onion and cilantro finely chop, crush the garlic. Mix all ingredients for sauce. Serve the empanadas with the sauce.
