But the rolls forming so interesting that it would be a sin not to use this and not dump them. So these muffins - very tasty and quick to prepare. Cooking
The name "Sunday" these muffins justify. I think in your day to devote to the preparation of these rolls an hour, then a whole week to pamper loved ones with fresh home-made cakes. So, let's start: in a bowl, combine warm water, yeast and salt. Knead a soft elastic dough, hand knead for 15-20 minutes in a food processor for 10 minutes. You can make the dough in the bread maker. The dough is put in a bowl, cover with a towel and put in a warm place until its volume will increase in 2 times ~ 30-40 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the filling. It can be anything - brisket or bacon, cheese, cottage cheese, mixed with herbs and garlic, jam, mixed with a small amount of starch, slices of fresh apples and even pieces of chocolate. I have bacon; cheese, herbs, garlic; cheese (cheese can not RUB and cut into cubes). It is possible, as in the original recipe, not stuffing them. Will be just bread.
Divide the dough into equal small pieces, roll in flour, cover with a towel, leave to rest for 10 minutes.
Good probility flour tortillas, folded in pairs, to crush your fingers to a larger diameter, cover with a towel and leave it again for 10 minutes.
For each pair of tortillas put the filling inside.
Wrap the top of one edge.
Turn the rolls seam side down, cover with a towel, leave to rest for 10 minutes
Preheat the oven to 240 degrees, put in the oven on the bottom of the pan (I put a saucepan) with boiling water. Flip the buns on a baking sheet seam up and put in the oven for exactly 10 minutes. A small note. I admit that some of the oven for 10 minutes, the dough not bake it well. If you know such a peccadillo for your unit, be careful - if the dough is still damp, hold a bun in the oven a little longer.
Here are pale semi-finished work. They really reminded me of their appearance buns for hot dogs.
Now waiting for the buns to cool, put them in a bag, tie it tightly and put in the freezer until the hour X. Here's how they look after had been in the freezer a day
And now, when you want muffins, just preheat the oven to 200 degrees, put on a pan of ice, not thawed rolls, you can brush them with cream or milk and bake for 20 minutes until blush. Here is the bun with cheese.
And this one with cheese, garlic and herbs.
