Waffle cake with sorbet
A simple and delicious cake. Cooked it my mother in my early childhood, so now I cook it.

Ingredients

  • The cake

    8 piece

  • Condensed milk

    400 g

  • Milk

    5 Tbsp

  • Lemon peel

  • Walnuts

In a large bowl, mix sherbet (cut into pieces)

Condensed milk and put in a water bath (I did on the divider) on medium heat, stirring constantly with a spoon.

You can add some fresh milk so that the cream was not too thick.

When the cream becomes homogeneous, add the grated lemon zest, mix well. Do not bring to boil! Heat until complete dissolution of pieces of sherbet!

And then all you need to do quickly! Without removing the bowl from the heat, coat the first cake, paying special attention to the edges (one cake took me about 4 tbsp of cream)

Cover with a second Korzh and again: cream, nuts.

The last cake also have a good coat of cream and nuts do not regret! Give the cake to soak at room temperature for 1 hour.
