Buckwheat soup with meatballs
"What's for dinner?" - "Soup krokodilami!" - "What? What???" - asks the father, smiling. "Yes, with meatballs, Marina is still not able to speak them!". So called home it's a hot dish "Soup krokodilami". This soup is almost a full meal for adults and children, and prepared pretty quickly.

Ingredients

  • Minced meat

For meatballs: mix the mince with chopped onions, chicken eggs, salt and ground black pepper. Optionally, you can add other spices. Mince, knead well, beat on the table 10-15 times for better adhesion.

Put to heat a pot of water for soup and pan sauteed. Of minced meat formed frikadelli about the size of a walnut. Clean soup onions, carrots and potatoes.

Cut onion into small cubes, carrots grate on a coarse grater. Put the vegetables into the pan, add 3-4 tbsp. tablespoons vegetable oil. Passeruem over medium heat until lightly frying for 5-7 minutes.

Cut the potatoes in small cubes. Send the potatoes in boiling water with salt and add the Bay leaves. As soon as after laying the potatoes in a minute the water boils again, put in a pan of meatballs. Gently stir, if necessary remove the foam.

Once the onions and carrots begin to slightly fry, add to the pan 2-3 tablespoons of buckwheat passeruem together for 3-5 minutes.

Put the vegetables with buckwheat in the pan with the potatoes and meatballs. Stir and give the soup to cook for 5-7 minutes more minutes.

Try the potato soup if it is cooked, then add to soup, greens, taste the broth for salt and if need potseluem. Tightly close the lid and switch off the stove. Next soup need to stand for 30-60 minutes. During this time from this buckwheat and frikadelli will begin to absorb the broth and become tender and juicy.
