Pickled beets
For a side dish to meat roasted on the coals is very well suited this pickled beets. I really liked this version, with the addition of soy sauce TM Kikkoman instead of salt...

Ingredients

  • Beets

    400 g

  • Soy sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Beetroot leaves

  • Chives

  • Baguette

  • Red onion

    1 piece

Boiled beets grate thin strips on a special grater.

In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce TM Kikkoman,1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp mustard (preferably Dijon). mix everything and pour into mold with grated beets, add the finely chopped red onion. Send to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight...

If you are going to serve the beets at home, the pieces of baguette and roast in the oven, sprinkle them with olive oil. Decorate sandwiches chopped chives and the leaves of chard.

In nature, fry the slices of baguette (by the way, you can take and black bread, will be even better) on a grill rack and also garnish with chives and a few leaves of chard. To serve the meat, roasted on the grill. Very tasty!!!
