Soup with turnip
When it happens to buy turnips, cook's such a simple soup. Authorship do not apply, and where did you find the recipe, can't remember. However, the principle of cooking soup known each owner (in some happy cases - to the owner :)) And now, here is my plan...

Ingredients

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Turnips

    1 piece

  • Potatoes

    3 piece

  • Cabbage

    200 g

  • Meat

    300 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Parsley

    30 g

  • Salt

  • Greens

Cooking

Boil the broth in the usual way. I had the broth from pork bones, not too greasy. Then the bones can be removed.

Shred the cabbage, slice potatoes, add to boiling broth.

The turnip and grate on a coarse grater, cut onion half rings, chopped (grate) carrots, sliced (grated) parsley root (I have, alas, it was not). Vegetables can be fried in small amount of vegetable oil. By the way, about the turnip: who knows the vegetable is slightly bitter. The infamous Elena molokhovets offers untreated blanch the turnip in boiling water and cut with a vegetable thick crust. My taste is quite satisfied and, in my opinion, gives the soup a spicy bitterness. Well, as they say, it is not for everybody :)

Add boiled vegetables-roots soup (I didn't passarola, because it was prepared for the daughter). Chop the greens (any) and add at the end of cooking the soup. Or pour into a bowl.

Onion, garlic, sour cream - nothing will ruin a light and fresh taste of cabbage soup with turnip!
