Horns of leek
Way to design the meals. The filling can be any of: mushrooms, mashed potatoes, vegetables, boiled meat.

Ingredients

  • Leeks

    1 piece

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    3 Tbsp

  • Milk

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

My leeks and dried it. Cut into several parts. Gently press the middle to receive the cone. I have one leek received 8 such cones.

Prepare a stuffing. I fried the mushrooms with onions and sour cream. Neat stuff.

Prepare a batter. Amount of milk and flour I've indicated. All depends on the size of the eggs. Batter may be runny, like pancake batter, or thick, like batter for pancakes. It all depends on how much batter you want to see on the finished cones), I used a liquid batter and thick. The picture with the finished horns you can identify where is what :) Gently dip the stuffed leeks in batter and put on hot oil. Fry prior to cooking. Better still steamed dish under the lid so the onions were tender. If you want crispy horns - better still roll not only in the batter, but in the breadcrumbs.

Spread the finished horns on a napkin to stack the excess fat. You can eat hot, cold, with sauce, sour cream... Bon appetit!
