Gingerbread from the fifties
A stunningly simple recipe with minimal ingredients. Specially for children and in the post. Approved by the Institute of nutrition Academy of medical Sciences of the USSR, by the way. The book "Baby food" from 1958.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Honey

    100 g

  • Cinnamon

    1 g

  • Carnation

    1 g

  • Soda

    5 g

  • Vegetable oil

    5 g

Cooking

The sugar and honey to boil water (to dissolve sugar) and cool to room temperature.

Add the syrup of cinnamon, cloves, soda, stir and knead with flour nekrutoe dough (note: the flour may take less, it all depends on the specific properties of the product). This time I got less than the whole Cup. Zealous flour is not recommended, the dough should slightly stick to the hands.
