Puff pastry
It is very simple and very cheap recipe of fresh puff pastry. It can be used immediately after preparation, and can be put in the freezer for storage for future use. Products from this test work are actually very tasty.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    2.5 cup

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Butter

    200 g

Divide butter or margarine into 4 equal parts and put in the freezer.

Gradually add cold water to flour, knead the dough (until you fall behind hands) when you're ready - put for 10 min in rapid freezing (or 15 min in the freezer).

On a work surface spread the dough and roll out to a thickness of 0.5-1 cm, on it, on a large grater, grate the butter or margarine.

Turn the layer dough in an envelope and put for 15 min in rapid freezing or freeze in 20 min, then take the dough and do the same (roll out, three margarine, turn in an envelope in a freezer) and so do not use all the margarine.

Of dough can make a variety of puff envelopes with sweet and savoury fillings, but you can just layer cut with a knife into squares (you can sprinkle with sugar, and can be then powdered sugar), place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 mins on medium heat
