Ingredients

  • Beets

    1 kg

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

Beets thoroughly washed and clean. The cut part strips using the easy peelers (of which then you can fold the rose). The rest grate on a grater for Korean carrot using a nozzle for fine chopping. Onion peel and cut into thin half-rings. Garlic peel and finely chop. Squeeze juice from orange and lemon. Mix grated beets with onion, garlic, salt and juice.

At the bottom of a deep bowl to put strips of beets. Sprinkle grated beets mixed with the remaining ingredients. Put under the press for 12 hours. It is convenient to leave on overnight.

To shift the pickled beets along with the marinade in a jar with a tight fitting lid and put into the refrigerator. (The spread of beet strips and grated beets in different banks). 3-4 hours will make a wonderful preset you can store up to 3-5 days and use as needed – as a self-starter, the basis for salads, a side dish or to decorate other dishes.
