In summer you have a lot of work and most importantly, to have time not only to collect and eat the harvest and to prepare it for future use. So I suggest you a great recipe for blueberry jam with a piquant acidity and aroma of black currant.

Ingredients

  • Blueberries

    1 l

  • Black currants

    400 g

  • Brown sugar

    600 g

Blueberries and currants to sort and rinse well in running water.

Black currants put into a saucepan and boil on a small fire for 5 minutes to soften. Then punch a blender and RUB through a sieve. You should get 300 ml black currant puree. Put the blueberries into a saucepan in which to cook the jam and add puree black currant.

There also add 500 gr. sugar. Cook on medium heat (removing the scum) for 20 minutes, then pour another 100 grams. of sugar and boil for another 5 minutes.

Pour into prepared (hot) jam into sterilized jars and close the lids (boil lids). To warm and leave until cool. Store a cool place or in the pantry.
