Squash cheese sandwiches in a crispy batter
In the summer we cook all the zucchini. And it's a novel idea - you want to diversify squash dishes. Besides, unlike bread sandwiches, squash will not give anyone extra weight :-) Cook for a few minutes, but tasty and healthy! The recipe from Elena Chekalova. She brought it from Italy.

Ingredients

  • Zucchini

    2 piece

  • Cheese

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Bread crumbs

    3 piece

  • Salt

  • Spices

  • Vegetable oil

Courgettes or zucchini cut lengthwise into plates with a thickness of about 4 mm. Liberally sprinkle them with salt and leave for 15 minutes, so they released the excess moisture. After the fluid is drained, and the zucchini and rinse under running water from the extra salt. Every plate were coated from the inner side with spices and herbs. On one half put the chopped cheese slices, close the second half. Alternately dip sandwiches (from all sides, including the sides!) first in flour, then in lightly beaten eggs and finally in breadcrumbs.

Fry on both sides in a pan in abundant oil until it will turn brown.

Serve, garnish with herbs and lightly sprinkled with lemon juice.
