Turkish salad with white beans
Black-Piyaz. Piyaz is a classic Turkish salad of white beans. The salad goes well not only with grilled meats and meatballs (kababs), but also can act as a separate dish. The salad is very hearty and fresh.

Ingredients

  • Lemon juice

    2 Tbsp

  • Paprika sweet

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Parsley

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Beans

    150 g

  • Olive oil

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

White beans (I small) put in a pot with water in proportions 1:5. Bring to a boil, then cook until tender on low heat. I soaked the beans, and when boiling add 1/2 tsp of baking soda, so the beans cooks faster.

The finished beans drain, rinse with clean water.

Tomatoes and pepper cut into cubes, greens chopped. Onions cut into half rings and lightly mash to split up the leaves.

Half boiled eggs into slices for decoration, the rest cut into small cubes. For the sauce: mix in a separate bowl olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper.

In a separate bowl mix together the beans, tomatoes, peppers, onions, eggs, greens. Pour the sauce and gently stir. Spread on a dish or in a salad bowl. Decorate with slices of egg, sprinkle the egg with paprika, decorate and serve. Bon appetit!!!
