Pita bread with chicken liver, baked in the oven
I usually bake the pita cheese as bannitsa, you can also bake the pita bread liver, minced with vegetables. It turns out very tasty, can be eaten for lunch with a salad, or served as a snack.


  • Pita

    2 piece

  • Beef liver

    500 g

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Sour cream

    3 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Butter

    20 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper


Cut the liver in small pieces and stew for 10 minutes under the lid.
Onions and carrots cut into large slices and add to the liver. Fry for another 10-15 minutes. Put the liver with the vegetables from the pan and add salt, pepper.
Grind everything in a blender or a food processor with a large knife. The resulting minced 2 pita bread.
Grease each lavash half of the mixture and twist as vertetu. Twisted pitas spread in the form and brush with beaten egg with sour cream. Bake 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
