Description

Roasted leg of lamb with wine
Very good and loved the recipe! The meat is juicy, tender, soft (it is possible to chew lips), delicious, like, suggest to all! If you do not like, feel free to shower me Slippers. I even was thinking of making some a couple of feet for the New year! And that is not troublesome, no trouble, but infinitely delicious! Recipe source:elladkin. livejournal. com.

Ingredients

  • Leg of lamb

    1 piece

  • Dry white wine

    1 l

  • Olive oil

    250 ml

  • Rosemary

  • Garlic

    10 tooth

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

Cooking

step-0
Leg of lamb (I had a paddle, but best of all take the leg (!)) wash under running water, Pat dry with paper kitchen towel. One or two sprigs of rosemary cut into 10 pieces. In the leg of lamb using a sharp knife, make 10 incisions, each incision insert the garlic cloves and chopped sprigs of rosemary. The oven pre-heat to 225°C.
step-1
In great shape with high sides pour olive oil, put the remaining rosemary sprigs,
step-2
Put a leg of lamb, and roast for about 40 minutes–1 hour (I baked it for 1 hour). Bake until Golden brown on both sides, turning occasionally leg. After an hour turn down the oven temperature to 180°C.
step-3
After an hour of baking, remove the muffin pan from the oven, pour into the form with the meat, dry white wine and put back to bake for 2 hours, at 180°C. During baking, turn the meat periodically (I turned every half hour). 30 minutes until tender, remove the pan, remove any sprigs of rosemary, the meat salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
step-4
Ready to roast remove from oven, cut into portions and serve. You can garnish without - just with a green vegetable salad and be sure to drink white wine!!! On the side I had baked potatoes in foil. The potatoes are ready to deploy, cut in half lengthwise, loosen the breastbone middle, put a piece of butter, let it melt, season with salt and pepper. Meat and potatoes are prepared easily and simply, and the result is awesome!!! Bon appetit!!!)))
step-5
Be SURE to take a fresh (!) rosemary, dry does not even begin to do! Be SURE the oil is only (!) olive, because vegetable oil just burn You at the temperature of 225 g., demise will be a full kitchen, and meat will spoil! DEFINITELY only good dry white wine that no sour! And, of course, no wine of Tetra Pak packages, which divorced from an unknown some dry powder (called wine)! Be SURE to form should be large with high sides that there has been no wine. And, of course, be SURE to buy a good fresh leg of lamb! I had a shoulder (of meat less), just needed somewhere to attach, next time just from the feet!
