Barberries pickled
Fans of the barberry is dedicated. Aromatic, sour and spicy berries is ideal for meat dishes.

Ingredients

  • Barberry

    1 cup

  • Water

    200 ml

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    2 tsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Allspice

    3 piece

  • Carnation

    3 piece

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Barberry to sort, wash, a little dry.

Prepare ingredients for marinade.

The water to boil. Prepare marinade: sugar, salt, vinegar, allspice, cloves and cinnamon. Bring to a boil.

The barberry spread on clean, dry jars. Better to use small, I'm comfortable in jars from under baby food (CA. 80 ml)

Pour the hot marinade.

Cover, cool, put into the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

Serve as a side dish to meat dishes. I loved the combination of pickled barberries and pork ribs. Also recommended as a side dish to meat stews.
