For the fish pie any oily fish. Very tasty cake with red fish - salmon or trout. I cooked this pie whitefish - delicious Northern fish. And what turns a soft salted whitefish - m-m-m-m, yum! Oh, something I digress. So, to business. The fish cut lengthwise into two pieces and remove all bones.
Yeast dough: mix the yeast (instead of dry you can take 50 g wet) and salt. I love the so-called "Khrushchev" dough - it is tasty and easy to prepare, and moderately curvy. I suggest you make this dough, though, you can prepare your favorite yeast dough.
In the dry mixture, add cold milk (from the fridge).
Add soft margarine (or butter).
Gradually introduce the flour, and stir the dough by hand so that the margarine is evenly mixed with the flour.
The dough wrap in cling film and refrigerate at least 4 hours or ideally overnight. Before baking the dough does not need to rasstavat, it is used immediately after taken out from the refrigerator.
Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out one into the reservoir and place on a greased baking sheet. Onions cut thin rings or half rings and put (half quantity) on the dough, top with priciples ground black pepper. Do not spare the onions, the more - the better.
Onions put the fish fillet, which is pre-coat with salt (to taste). This time I decided to make a cake of whitefish and salmon - made kind of cuts.
On top of the fish place the remaining onion, which will also peresyplem black pepper. If you decide to make the cake from lean fish, then onions on top, you can put the pieces of butter.
Roll out second half of dough, put the fish and zasypaem pie on the edge. In the center of the pie make a small hole, into which put a piece of butter, decorate the pie (optional) and put in the oven for 1 hour at 170 - 200 degrees. If the cake top starts to blush too quickly, cover it with foil.
Get ready cake from the oven and while it is hot, top, liberally grease it with butter.
Let it stay for 30 minutes and cut into pieces.
The pie is delicious both hot and cold.
