Baghrir
Moroccan pancakes-tortillas on the basis of semolina flour. Very lush and delicious. The filling can be any - from meat to fruit.

Ingredients

  • Semolina

    1.5 cup

  • Flour

    0.5 cup

  • Leavening agent

    0.5 tsp

  • Yeast

    0.5 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Water

    2 cup

  • Salt

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Honey

    50 g

The semolina flour I made from cereals, chopped it in the blender, but not to the state of powder! Grains should be present!

Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Better to do it right in the bowl where you can stir the batter.

Now to the yeast add the flour, semolina chopped, baking powder, salt and egg. Whisk for 5-7 minutes. Remove in a warm place for a couple of hours.

The dough will increase in volume, try not to disturb him much. Mix gently enter the ladle and pour it on the hot pan. Pancakes baked on a DRY pan. Oil need not be added.

Light, airy pancakes are fried on one side only. As soon as the upper side of the pancake dries - remove.

Melt the butter, mix with honey.

Lubricate the pancakes, roll. Top brush with remaining honey butter.
