Description

Cooking
The butter should be softened at room temperature. Turn on the oven. While it heats up to 180 degrees. prepare the plums and batter. Plum wash, cut lengthwise in two, remove seeds. Batter: softened butter (or margarine) mix with sugar and vanilla sugar, then whisking with a whisk or electric mixer, one at a time add the eggs. Sift flour and mix with baking powder, add to egg-oil mixture. Stir well. Get a very thick batter.
A baking pan (26-28 cm diameter), preferably detachable, brush with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or semolina, or use baking paper. Pour the batter, flatten it with a spoon. Put the dense rows of plums halves, lightly pressing them into the dough.
Put in the oven. Bake at 180 deg. 1 hour - 1 hour 10 minutes Readiness check with a wooden stick. I put a bowl of hot water on the grid under the form of a pie so that the dough does not burn.
Slightly cooled cake sprinkle with powdered sugar. Later removed from the mould and decorate as desired. Help yourself!
