Pies with cabbage and carrots
The dough was very delicate and airy, the filling can be any.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    0.5 cup

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 tsp

  • Margarine

    3 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Flour

    3 cup

Mix warm milk and water, dissolve yeast, add sugar, salt, butter and margarine, adding the flour, knead the dough. It should be soft but not beaten, knead for 5 minutes. Deep bowl to grease with vegetable oil, place in it the dough, cover, put in heat for 1 hour. Cabbage (1/4 plug) to chop, onion (1 piece) and dill to taste finely chopped. In a frying pan heat some butter, fry the onions, add the cabbage and greens, fry, reduce the heat and simmer until soft. Young cabbage is prepared quickly, you can leave it slightly crunchy, then add salt and pepper to taste, beat 1 egg, stir until it does not curdle, put the stuffing in a bowl. Carrots (2 large) clean and wash, RUB on a small grater, add oil (2-3 tbsp), sugar and cinnamon (to taste, optional you can add raisins), mix well. Punch down the risen dough, sprinkle the table with flour, divide the dough into 2 parts, one for pies with cabbage, the other with carrots. Divide the dough into small balls (a total of 12 pies from the entire test).

Roll the ball in the middle put a tablespoon of the filling, stung the edge, pies yet convenient to put on a tray dusted with flour. In the frying pan, vegetable oil, pies just in time almost to stand - it will be easier to give a flat shape. Hands powdered with flour, every cake flatten well with your hands and immediately into the pan. Fry on both sides until Golden brown.
