No need to wipe the berries through a sieve, is prepared instantly, and sugar takes half. This method was specified on the packaging of Gelfix, I decided to try it out and received excellent jam! To prepare our products. If you want a very thick jam, which can be cut with a knife, then use 1 package of Gelfix 1 kg peeled berries. I had 1.5 kg of strawberries, but I used 1 packet, and the result was quite thick, spotting jam.
Wash, remove the sepals from the strawberries, fold it in a large pot or basin, depending on the number of berries, and grind immersion blender. Utensils for cooking must take quite a large amount due to the large amount of generated foam.
The contents of the sachet Gelfix mix with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar and only then!!! pour in a bowl with chopped berries and carefully stir. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Add remaining sugar, again, stirring constantly, bring to a boil and cook for 3 more!! minutes. Remove from the heat.
Remove the formed foam. And who of us from childhood knows that the most delicious in any jam is P-e-E-e-E-NKI!!! They are deliciously tender and bubbly...
Pour the jam in sterilized jars, seal and leave to cool slightly.
