Most of us grew up in the Soviet era. At the time, when reading Western literature, we tried to understand that the beast is ginger, and looks like a passion fruit. But the pies were the most delicious, because baking from their grandmother. Kind, patient, wise. Today I offer you a pie from the Soviet cook book, 1959 with a small my liberties. And I give it to my Natasha (FoodStation1)/

Ingredients

  • Flour

    2.5 cup

  • Brown sugar

    5 Tbsp

  • Butter

    4 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Yeast

    7 g

  • Salt

    0.4 tsp

  • Milk

    125 ml

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Jam

    2 Tbsp

  • Vanilla

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 Tbsp

In a bowl, pour warm milk, dissolve the yeast in it. Add salt, 4 tbsp. spoons of sugar, 2 eggs, 0.5 tsp vanilla, and flour. Can take anywhere from two to 2.5 cups. Then the melted butter. Knead at least five minutes. The dough should not be tight.

After proofing in a warm place for the dough will increase in two times. Abenaim it and leave for second rise. It will take about 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out one size shape (I have 24 cm). From the second part of the test make random side.

Remove pie from oven, spread it on a biscuit. Grease the rim with egg yolk. Reduce oven temperature to 170-180 degrees and bake until ready. My oven took 20 minutes.
