Stewed cabbage with mushrooms
One of my favorite meatless recipes.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage

    1 kg

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Tomato

    5 piece

  • Brine

    1 cup

  • Vinegar

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Chili

  • Black pepper

  • Soy sauce

    2.5 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Greens

  • Oyster mushrooms

    150 g

  • Olive oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

Carrots and onions clean, wash. Onion cut into cubes, carrots grate on a grater. Vegetables lightly fry in olive oil.

Chop the cabbage.

Add the cabbage to the onions and carrots, reduce heat and gradually adding water, simmer 15-20 minutes.

Grate the pickled tomatoes, the peel out.

Add them to the pan with the cabbage, pour a glass of brine. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add 2 tbsp of white balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.

Pepper freshly ground black pepper, if necessary add salt or more soy sauce to taste.

Slice hot pepper to taste, crush the garlic, add in the cabbage, add a tablespoon of sugar, mix well. Simmer for 5-7 minutes. To turn off the stove, let stand 10-15 minutes.

Cut into strips oyster mushrooms.

Fry in 1 tbsp olive oil, add 1 tsp of soy sauce, and pepper.

Put the cabbage into bowls, add 1 heaped tablespoon fried oyster and garnish with greens.
