I know a lot of similar recipes, but I want to share with you the cake that my family loves! Why "cake& quot;-Yes, because that's what they called us, and in this recipe it is prepared in our area, Western Ukraine (Carpathians). It is a plus that apples in more than three layers, and the cake comes out not dry like most cakes but delicious and soft. Try it for yourself!

Cooking
In a bowl pour the flour (if you don't have weights and measures or 250 g glass or measuring Cup then pour the flour is not easily knock glass and gently shake so that the surface became smooth, as if you knock a Cup of flour, the flour will settle and so it will be longer than necessary), and on top a coarse grater RUB the margarine.

To suppress the baking powder add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and mix well.
To the flour with margarine, add sugar, salt, eggs, vanilla sugar, zest of lemon and repaid baking powder. And in the end, if you like, add raisins (just wash and dry and do not need raisins to pour boiling water).
Knead the dough, but does not shunt the flour! The dough will be very sticky, but it's good, otherwise the dough in the cake will be dry! Then put the dough in the fridge (don't need a bowl to cover anything, unless you don't plan to bake right away, then cover with a normal lid).
Apple peel and grate on grater plates (if you have a float that you would like and cut, but given that you are thin anyway, and not cut, give less apples -about 1 kg of already sliced, because if Apple are not finely grated, the middle layer will not be baked-check!). Add the apples sugar (I give 50 g - but I have Apple get sour, so if you like more sweet add more sugar, in short, taste...), vanilla sugar, cinnamon (I give quite a bit, just to accentuate the taste, and not to kill it!) and easy to mix.
