Ingredients

  • Carrots

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Parsley

    1 coup

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Butter

    1.5 Tbsp

Onions finely chop.

In a saucepan (I have a frying pan with a thick bottom) put the butter, add the onions and cook it for 3 minutes (until translucent onions).

While preparing the onions, peel the carrots. It cut into slices no thicker than 3 mm. I used a regular grater, where there is a long slot for shredding (you can use a vegetable peeler).

Put the sliced carrots to the onions. Stir.

Finely chop the garlic, place it to the carrots. Pour 100 ml of water, add salt to taste, stir. Cover with a lid and simmer 15-20 minutes on medium heat until cooked carrots.

Finely chop the parsley.

Add the parsley to the carrots and pour in the cream (the cream can be replaced with sour cream). Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes. The side dish is ready!
