Peeled potatoes cut into very large slices. Put potatoes in boiling salted water and cook for 6-7 minutes. Do not overcook the potatoes, it needs to stay strong, not fall apart, but at the same time should not be soggy. Boiled potatoes drain in a colander, cool.
Cucumbers grate on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and finely chop it.
