Very simple and easy dish that diversifies your everyday menu. Mashed peas and potatoes that you can serve it with anything: meat, fish or vegetables. Come on, it's delicious!

Cooking
Peas (preferably crushed) soak overnight. Drain the water, rinse the peas, pour cold water above 4-5 cm, salt, cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for 35-40 minutes (until almost cooked). When the peas to boil for the first time, remove the foam. For cooking it is better to take the pot more, and the peas and tries to escape.
Add the peas to the sliced potatoes and cook everything together for another 20 minutes. Until cooked vegetables. By this time the water is almost all evaporated, leaving only a small number that we need. The contents of the pan periodically stir to avoid burning of peas to the bottom of the pan.
Carrots grate on a coarse grater, onion cut into small dice. Sauté the vegetables in vegetable oil until tender.
Add the paprika, stir, remove from heat.
Pea-potato mixture to blend to the desired consistency.
Add to mashed potatoes the fried vegetables, mix well. You're done!
