Description
The recipe for this favorite Arabic dish that I made lightly. Trying for the first time in Dubai, I initially did not even understand what it's cooked - delicate creamy taste, with a caramel-colored crust and crunchy nuts... the Germans trying it, argued that it was the strudel without apples, English bread pudding without bread, and the Swiss joke that it's fondue without the cheese... Everything is always so enthusiastic about this dessert, I set out to find the original recipe. There it was! Was a Lebanese, Egyptian, Palestinian options and everyone believed that it is the best... as a result I settled on an interesting version of the website TimeOutDubai and did not regret!

Cooking
Here are the finished products of puff pastry I bought.
Will need a mix of nuts and dried fruits.
Nuts fry on a dry pan without oil. Dried fruits and nuts chop with a knife.
Puff pastry minced, tearing off small pieces from the main reservoir. Mix with the walnut-fruit mixture.
Evaporated milk pour into a saucepan, add the vanilla and water, stir, bring to boil and stir, boil for 3-4 minutes. To give the milk to cool and pour in mixture. Instead of condensed milk and water, you can use 800g of milk, cream or a combination of both, adding about 100g of sugar.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. A fireproof bowl and spread the mixture, put on the bottom a few pieces of butter. Top evenly distribute the cream.
You can decorate the top with almonds, pistachios. Bake for 15 minutes.
