Muligatawny (chicken soup with spices)
Very unusual, but delicious spicy chicken soup, sour cream and rice. Seasoned with lemon and black pepper.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    30 g

  • Apple

  • Chicken breast

    450 g

  • Broth

    1 l

  • Carrots

    250 ml

  • Flour

  • Lemon peel

  • Black pepper

Heat butter and oil in a saucepan and sauté the Apple and chicken over moderate heat until the pieces are Golden brown. Put 1 tablespoon of curry powder and simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stir well.

Pour into the pot of soup, put the carrots, celery, onions and rice; bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat. Mix corn flour with water, lemon zest and salt, add to the soup. Cook until the soup thickens, then add to the soup a Cup of cream, salt and pepper to taste, add the greens - the soup is ready!
