Vegetable pie with apples and walnuts
Every year people try to cook a variety of delicious dishes for Orthodox positions. Overall, even with meatless dishes can be a considerable variety of the whole diet. Offer to your attention a wonderful pie for the soul! Aromatic Apple with walnuts! Useful and delicious! Forming invented by me, out of the corner cake its sugar-caramel flavor perfectly set off the juicy Apple filling!

Ingredients

  • Water

    1.5 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    0.5 cup

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Brown sugar

    2.5 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    2 tsp

  • Apple

    3 piece

  • Walnuts

  • Potato starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Flour

    3.5 cup

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

For this cake I used brown sugar firm "Mistral" Demerara, he adds wonderful caramel flavor stuffing!

For the dough I use the bread machine, ingredients for dough are placed in the manner prescribed by the regulations. You can knead this dough by hand! In warm water, add the vegetable oil. To the flour add salt, sugar, dry yeast, mix and combine with the liquid. Knead the dough well. Put in a warm place for 1 hour for proofing.

Ready, punch down the risen dough and divide into 2 parts. Cover it with a towel, and you can start filling.

For the filling: Fry in a dry pan walnuts (you can not fry, a matter of taste). Remove seeds and peel the apples, cut them in small cubes, add cane sugar, 1 tbsp starch, nuts, cinnamon and stir. The stuffing is ready!

Roll out one portion of dough oblong shape, transfer onto greased baking sheet, spread the filling, as in the photo.

Grease the edges of the dough with vegetable oil, before reaching the filling about 1-2 cm, thickly sprinkled with sugar.

Cover with 2nd piece of rolled dough and crimping it around the filling tightly and gently at the edges.

Cut the dough around the rays (here I forgot to take a picture), not dorezaya to the filling in them several times every ray and stacked up on top of the pie.

Sprinkle the top lightly with sugar and make slits to release steam. Put in preheated oven to 180 degrees. 25-30 min.

The finished cake let cool on wire rack.
