Fried bananas with a walnut-wine sauce
Dessert "Banana Paradise". Easy to make dessert will appeal to fans of bananas. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user Cook called "Banana Paradise" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Ingredients

  • Banana

    1 piece

  • Potato starch

    2 Tbsp

  • Powdered sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Almonds

    15 piece

  • Dry red wine

    80 ml

  • Nutmeg

    1 pinch

  • Chocolate milk

    25 g

If the intention is to decorate the dessert when submitting an original chocolate figures, we will begin with this step. Professional cooks prefer for these purposes, chocolate with a high cocoa butter content-beans, we can afford to do tile ordinary chocolate. I used dark chocolate "Trip" factory "Russia". Chocolate breaking into pieces, place in a structure known as the "water bath".

The easel we will serve as a cutting Board fixed on it baking paper. Since I was doing such "fine arts" for the first time, just to be safe, put it under baking paper sheet with painted patterns. We take our chocolate bag, carefully cut with scissors the tip of the better quite a bit, if the hole is not enough, you can adjust on the go. And draw! Me process was very fascinated by is a pleasurable activity which is not difficult!!! It should be noted that figures it's best to paint in layers to draw the plans, to go back and go through the figures again, you can once or twice. Now the second preparatory stage. The original recipe does not left any wishes regarding the nut, therefore, guided only by their taste, I opted for almond. Immediately I faced the question - how does it grind? In a blender? And maybe chop with a knife? In any case, the almonds have first to be cleaned. Since cleaning nut I was not in industrial scale, decided to clean manually. For this nuts pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain the water. The skins from the nuts after such water treatment removes great.

Dry the peeled almonds in the oven at a temperature of 100*C for 30 minutes.

Dried nuts remove from the oven. Chop with a knife... Then I made individual pleasant discovery! If you do not give almonds to cool, then with a sharp knife without much trouble you can get almond petals! Maybe someone knew about this co of the school of home EC, but I am sincerely glad of this new opportunity. Moreover, the price of the finished almond petals is quite absurd (20 g - 80 rubles).

Sprinkle ground nutmeg (I allowed myself this little departure from the authentic recipe)

Combine the cornstarch and powdered sugar, breaded in to this mixture of banana slices

And fry them on both sides in butter over medium heat until browned.

Fried bananas out onto a plate lined with kitchen paper in order to get rid of excess oil.

In a frying pan, in which roasted bananas, spread almond petals, lightly fry them for 2-3 minutes,

Reduce the heat to minimum, pour the wine, stir, add 1 tsp of starch-powder mix (I got some left over after breading), stirring slowly, to extinguish on slow fire 5-7 minutes.

To serve the dessert. I otsudila a little wine sauce, dusted the plate, the mess laid out fried bananas (take them with a swipe recommend caution in order not to damage the starch crust, which sometimes sticks, but it's good moves, if you do not pull sharply). On top of the bananas put braised in wine nuts and sauced, decorated chocolate figurines that are waiting in the wings in the refrigerator.

In conclusion, a few words. My task consisted in "painting" has held a recipe belonging to another cook. So I have tried to adhere to the recommendations that were given by the Author. But somehow "participate" in the recipe, I guess they can Express their opinion. In my opinion, the beautiful and my favorite delicate flavor of roasted banana ice cream will be more suitable, on top of this dessert, it is useful to decorate the same nuts. Great taste will mix bananas, cooked this way, with a cherry sauce that can be cooked from frozen berries. Wine the taste seemed somewhat out of place here, though perhaps only because I was expecting more... My gratitude to the cook lolo1313 for the great idea to use for painting the disposable files.
