Beat the egg with milk and nutmeg. The bread trim crust and logging (if desired) to cut out any shape or form. In the middle of the bread spread the filling.

On top lay the second slice of bread, lightly press with your fingers. Dipping the workpiece in the egg mixture on both sides. Put the toast on a heated pan with a little butter.
